A Great Day With My Wonderful Husband

James was particularly cute yesterday. We got up in the morning and he made me french toast for breakfast (one of my favorites). Then he suggested we go see Inception because we've both been wanting to see it. So around 1:00 we went to a movie. When we got home, he let me read my book while he made dinner...turkey burgers and stuffed mushrooms. Yum! We watched a few episodes of "It's Always Sunny in Philadephia" when he said he wanted to go do something with me....but he wouldn't tell me where we were going. So we hopped in the car and headed down K10 to a golf course called Smileys. He's been playing a lot of golf lately and last week he mentioned that I should learn to play. I'm not sure whether that's a good idea or not due to my lack of coordination. So anyway, I thought he was going to try to take me to the driving range and teach me. But instead we played mini golf. I happen to LOVE mini golf even though I totally suck at it. So we played two rounds, had a beer, then went home around 9:30 and just chilled. It was a really fun day!

Mr. Skunk....I hate you

The dog got attacked by a psychotic skunk tonight. I took her out to go to the bathroom and a minute later, I heard her yelping hysterically. I went out there and saw that notorious striped tail. I started yelling at Kahlua and the devil skunk charged at me! Luckily, I closed the door right before it came into the house but poor Kahlua got it in the face. We went around the house to get her. After numerous saline rinses to the eye and a 40 minute bath (involving every remedy you can possibly imagine) I think we might be borderline okay. What a night!
