Well, it's official. All three boys have teeth now. When we went in for our 6 month appointment, our doctor pointed out that Nolan's two bottom teeth would be popping through any time. And both of them did...the next day. Three days later, Lucas' bottom left tooth popped through. A week later, he got his other bottom tooth.
Poor Oliver has been miserable. Every evening he cries and cries. If you know our big boy, you know this is not typical for him. The teething process has not been nice to him. Luckily, yesterday two little pearly whites popped through on the bottom. Hopefully he'll have some relief now.
They look so cute with their tiny little teeth. I'll post pictures as soon as I can get some good ones.
We went from a family of two to a family of five overnight. Read all about our exciting life with triplets boys!

6 Months
Well, I was on a roll there for a while, but it seems I've once again let a bit of time go by since my last post. It's hard to believe the boys are already 6 months old. They're doing awesome! They're sleeping through the night and most the time wake up at 8 AM. This is SO nice for Mommy! They're all really good at tummy time now and can hold their heads up for extended periods of time. They're all able to roll over from belly to back and back to belly. They all make lots of noises...in different ways. They like to play with their toys and put them in their mouths. They love Mommy kisses and get the sweetest smiles on their faces when Mommy smooches on them. All of them laugh lots and I can't think of a better sound!
Here's some specifics on each boy:
Oliver - He is definitely our BIG BOY. At our 6 month check up, he weighed in at 17 lb 4 oz. This puts him at the 95th percentile on the preemie chart, which means we'll be using the regular chart from here on out. He's in the 50th percentile for weight on the regular growth chart. He is very vocal and loves to say "oh" and "ooo" and if he's really excited, he'll squawk like a bird. I absolutely love his smile and his laugh. He's sitting up with assistance and I'm pretty sure he's going to be the first to sit up on his own. He's currently wearing a helmet to help fix the flat spot on his head (I'll blog more about this in a separate post). His helmet is purple with Willie the Wildcat on it. We think he looks adorable in it.
Nolan - At his 6 month appointment, Nolan weighed in at 13 lb 15 oz. which is in the 25-50th percentile range on the preemie chart. He can roll over front to back and back to front. If you put him down on his back, he will shortly be on his belly. Every night we put him in his crib on his back but whenever we check on him, he's always sleeping on his belly. He likes to blow bubbles from his mouth and has discovered that he can make fart noises with his mouth. He thinks this is pretty funny and does it often. Nolan is always interested in touching whoever is close to him. He loves to hold hands with Lucas or touch his brothers' heads or faces. So adorable! Nolan is officially the first one to get teeth. He's got two little ones that have popped on the bottom!
Lucas - For a while there, Lucas was the one you had to work the hardest to make smile or laugh, but he's come out of his shell and will just crack up. He's our little peanut, weighing only about 13 lbs 4 oz (5-25th percentile on the preemie chart). He likes to snuggle and hold things in his hands...and of course put everything in his mouth. He loves music and will laugh hysterically if you sing him a funny song and dance with him. He always seems to be bobbing his head to the music. Of the three, he seems to fight sleep the most. He'll lay in his crib and make noises that sound like the motor in a car. He just today had a tiny little tooth pop through on his bottom left hand side.
And now...a look over the last 6 months. It's crazy how fast they change...
